Tell us a little about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.

Our family has lived in the CDA area for twenty years. I've been a homeschool educator for 30 years, tutoring and mentoring homeschool families and teaching composition writing. My husband of 36 years passed away in July 2022. We have a son, Paul and a daughter Ashley and two beautiful granddaughters.

1. Do you have experience as an elected official and if so, what was your position, and how would you describe your voting record?

I have served the KCWD1 water board as secretary for 14 years. My voting record is conservative Republican

2. Please tell us about your activity as a Republican. Have you previously voted for candidates of other parties? If yes, explain.

I support the KCRCC and endorse conservative Republican candidates. I have never voted voted for any candidate of another party.

3. What is the purpose of government?

To represent and uphold the Republic of "WE THE PEOPLE"

4. Describe why you are running for this particular office. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?

My long time service and understanding of the water district are beneficial to help keep the capital projects the district has going on moving forward without interruption and continue to working with the other board members to serve and represent our patrons to the best of my ability.

5. Describe experiences where you are or have been engaged such as non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, boards, commissions, etc., where you have been of service to others.

Experience in the homeschool community in helping with the speech and debate judging. Active in my church, served the KCWD1 for 14 years, taught homeschool junior and senior high school classes for 25 years.

6. Do you describe yourself as fiscally conservative? Please, elaborate.

Yes. I believe in the conservative values of the Republican party and particularly believe the individual should have high standards in running and wanting to represent the constituents.

7. Do you consider yourself as socially conservative? Please elaborate.

Not sure what this means. I am 100% a conservative Christian, and highly Patriotic. I love the United States of America and cherish our Judeo Christian foundation.

8. Describe which party platform best aligns with your positions on public policy (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Constitutional Party) and where do you disagree with that platform.

Republican

9. Do you have any history of tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy or conflict of interest that may affect your future decisions or desirability to be voted into office? No

My constituents are my friends and neighbors. I am and have always been open and available.
