Tell us a little about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.: I moved to Idaho in 2021 with my wife. I have since become the father of two children and am focused on building a permaculture homestead in Rathdrum with an aim towards self-reliance.

When I’m not giving back to my local community, I’m currently a small business owner and business coach. As a business owner, my business won ‘Best New Business in Oregon’ by Mainstreet America in the midst of COVID hysteria lockdowns. I also offer my time as a business coach with the SBDC with an office at North Idaho College (many of my clients are businesses you probably know throughout North Idaho).

Previously, I’ve been a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Marketing for global brands – I have the executive level experience the NIC Board so desperately needs.

Recently, I co-founded Secure Idaho Elections to thwart attacks on our highly functional, high trust “One Person, One Vote” Idaho election system. Of note, my parting gift to the state of Oregon before leaving there was to successfully pressure a resistant Oregon Health Authority to create a more transparent and accountable COVID reporting process that helped small business owners and their workers make a living.

1. Do you have experience as an elected official and if so, what was your position, and how would you describe your voting record?: While I have never run for political office or held elected office, I have managed and critically contributed to several campaigns. I co-founded “Secure Idaho Elections”, a non-partisan grassroots group dedicated to protecting our ‘One Person, One Vote’ election system. I’m currently on a speaking and debate tour educating Idahoans about the hazards of Proposition 1 across the state. My voting record is, and will continue to be, reflective of our community and consistently conservative.

2. Please tell us about your activity as a Republican. Have you previously voted for candidates of other parties? If yes, explain.: I was most recently a registered Independent before moving to Idaho. That is because I had been extremely disappointed in the RNC and the establishment candidates, policies and special interests they have championed. It is precisely the good work of the GOP here in Kootenai County that motivated me to not only register again as a Republican but to help the grassroots GOP defend its conservative values.

3. What is the purpose of government?: The purpose of the government is to establish justice, defend liberty, protect life, uphold property rights and ensure a defense of the homeland. I should add that the administrative state subverts this proper role of government.

4. Describe why you are running for this particular office. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?: I’m running because I am fighting for my childrens’ future. NIC’s focus should be vocational in nature, ensuring students are prepared for specific trades, with an emphasis on practical skills and job-specific training.

NIC needs Trustees who not only reflect the conservative values of the community (the college is the COMMUNITY’S college after all) but who also bring a high degree of competence to the role. My conservative values are in line with those of our community. And I have the hard skills (managed big budgets & teams in high pressure environments as a C-level exec and business owner) and the soft skills (constructive candor & dialogue, leading by serving, listening) to be an effective champion for our community on the board. My approach on the Board will be one that is: empirically driven, listening first, constructive and candid, strategic, and consistent with the values of the community.

5. Describe experiences where you are or have been engaged such as non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, boards, commissions, etc., where you have been of service to others.: In Idaho, I am very active coaching small business owners throughout North Idaho for the SBDC. I do this work to offer the greatest community impact from my talent and bolster the backbone of America – small businesses. I have served on a variety of non-profit boards before coming to Idaho.

6. Do you describe yourself as fiscally conservative? Please, elaborate.: Yes, less regulation and taxes leads to more innovation and creativity.

7. Do you consider yourself as socially conservative? Please elaborate.: Yes. I am socially conservative for the reasons Goldwater so eloquently elaborated: “Extremism in the pursuit of liberty is no vice. Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” In a post-modern world where we are told that 2+2=5 and that boys can be girls, the pursuit of truth is, by its very essence, socially conservative.

8. Describe which party platform best aligns with your positions on public policy (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Constitutional Party) and where do you disagree with that platform.: Republican. There is no more room or time to be “fiscally conservative and socially liberal”. The Republic is on its knees and is in crisis (economic and moral). The Democratic Party atomizes us further for the purposes of serving globalist and corporatist interests. The Libertarian Party refuses to confront the realities of the human condition. The Republican Party embodies the spirit of our Founders and is our last best hope to save the Republic.

9. Do you have any history of tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy or conflict of interest that may affect your future decisions or desirability to be voted into office?: No

10.Describe how you will make yourself available to your constituents and vote as their representative with FORTITUDE, adhering to the values and answers you have stated above.:I am fortunate to be in a place in my career and personal life to give back to my community, make the hard decisions, and not worry about being “canceled” or popular with the “in” crowd. That said, I will always listen first -- to community members and NIC stakeholders -- and will honor an open door policy of communications. NIC”s future depends on constructive and honest dialogue, conducted with competence.

Educational institutions nationwide, so influential on our culture and the future of our children, are in crisis. I intend to make sure NIC is not. I’m seeking this position for a singular reason. As a father, I am fighting for my kids’ future.
