Tell us a little about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.

I'm the mother of 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. I am proud to say, I was born, raised, and lived here for 66 years and I wouldn't live anywhere else. I've spent my entire working career as an Accountant for Coeur d'Alene Mines for 14 years, Office Manager of the Accounting Department, Payroll Administrator, and Human Resources for the Corporate Office of Great Floors for 22 years, and currently working as Constituent Services Representative and Service Academy Coordinator for Congressman Russ Fulcher for the last 5 1/2 years.

1. Do you have experience as an elected official and if so, what was your position, and how would you describe your voting record?

Yes, I was elected as a Trustee in Zone 3 to the CDA School Board in 2011-2015. I've always voted Conservative Republican. I voted against the International Baccalaureate, United Nations program to remove it from the schools. The Board unanimously voted to remove it because it was indoctrinating our children. While serving on the School Board I received 2 Boardsmanship awards from the Idaho State Board of Education. I spearheaded the Anti-Bullying Task Force and supported a 1.6 million dollar bond to enact common sense policies for our security plan to keep schools safe.

2. Please tell us about your activity as a Republican. Have you previously voted for candidates of other parties? If yes, explain.

I have been a Precinct Committeeman for the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) since winning my initial election in 2016 and every two years since. I was Vice Chair of Legislative District 4 from 2016-2024. For the last 8 years, I have been serving as Chair of the Parade Committee, coordinating and participating in the 4th of July parades in CDA, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and Hayden. I'm Vice Chair of the Rating and Vetting Committee and have been since we started 5 years ago. Some of my other activities as a conservative Republican include walking my precinct and other precincts, handing out campaign material, helped organize Town Halls, Freedom Festivals, Lincoln Day Dinners, Idaho GOP Convention here in CDA, fundraisers, Trump parades, and sign waving. I would say, I'm trying to save my country, and it starts at the local level. I have never voted with another party. I am also a member and Vice President of the Kootenai County Republican Women Federated, the Treasurer of the North Idaho Pachyderms, and help candidates to speak at the weekly Reagan Republicans meetings.

3. What is the purpose of government?

To protect the citizens and their God given rights of freedom of speech, assembly, religion, that all men are created equal. To maintain order and stability, provide for the national defense and to keep the citizens safe.

4. Describe why you are running for this particular office. What are your qualifications? What are your goals? When I found out there was an open seat for the Kootenai Hospital District, I felt a deep responsibility to step in. It's about protecting our community. The people of Kootenai County built and sustained Kootenai Health for over 65 years. However, an unelected board has taken control, quietly replacing a publicly accountable board with one that serves private interests. This wasn't a reform. It was a hijacking. It seems it was done through loopholes, rushed votes, and a shocking lack of transparency. I've watched this process unfold with growing concern and growing outrage. The public feels that they were shut out and their questions were dismissed. Was there a predetermined outcome? I bring with me my love for North Idaho, my leadership experience on various boards, and a commitment to transparent honest governance. My goal is to expose corruption that's infected local government, to hold those responsible accountable, and to help the people of this county take back what is rightfully theirs.

5. Describe experiences where you are or have been engaged such as non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, boards, commissions, etc., where you have been of service to others.

As previously stated, I have held many leadership roles, on both elected and community boards. For the last 27 years, I have been a member and volunteer of the Altar Church. I've volunteered for the Good Samaritan Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, a faith based program, as a mentor to women and worked at the women's ranch. I instituted a program to help raise money for these women who were in dire need.

6. Do you describe yourself as fiscally conservative? Please, elaborate.

Yes! l live within my means. I don't spend money if I don't have it. I believe that our government should operate the same way.

7. Do you consider yourself as socially conservative? Please elaborate.

Absolutely! I believe that every child has a right to life beginning at conception. I believe in the marriage of one man and one woman, and in traditional Christian family values, and that there are only two genders.

8. Describe which party platform best aligns with your positions on public policy (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Constitutional Party) and where do you disagree with that platform.

Republican. I agree with the Idaho Republican Party platform 100%. I have served as a delegate to the Republican Party's Conventions helping to create a more conservative platform for the state of Idaho. I fully support the U.S. Constitution and our founding father’s documents.

9. Do you have any history of tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy or conflict of interest that may affect your future decisions or desirability to be voted into office?

No 1

10. Describe how you will make yourself available to your constituents and vote as their representative with FORTITUDE, adhering to the values and answers you have stated above.

I am happy to communicate by phone and email and enjoy meeting people at public events.
