November 2019 City Election Candidate Information

November 2019 Election Candidate Information

Be sure to vote on Tuesday, November 5th.

There are city elections, fire districts elections, and school district elections to vote on.

Important: The party does not control how people register their political affiliation. Anyone can register Republican, but that doesn't necessarily indicate how they would vote if elected. However, it is certainly a good place to start your research. It is up to each over to investigate the candidate to determine their beliefs.

You will also notice that some of the races are not a single Republican versus a single Democrat. For that reason, The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee is not making endorsements in those races.

REPUBLICAN TURNOUT IS ALWAYS LOWER IN CITY ELECTIONS, and that's why Democrats have been able to get a foothold in city government. Hopefully, this candidate listing will encourage you to get out and vote this year!
