Tell us a little about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.
I have lived here since 1996, met and married my wife here 27 years ago, raised four children just up the street from the green ferry water well and office. I've been active helping my friend Tony Wisniewski precinct walk my neighborhood.
1. Do you have experience as an elected official and if so, what was your position, and how would you describe your voting record?
I have not held office. I was previously vetted for hospital trustee by kcrcc. I consider "conservative" to be "anti-liberal" and that is not good enough. Additionally, I am traditional in my views, socially, politically, moral and religious. I always vote for the candidate I believe to be best for the position and for the constituency.
2. Please tell us about your activity as a Republican. Have you previously voted for candidates of other parties? If yes, explain.
I have known and been a friend of Tony Wisniewski for over 25 years. I have helped him walk our precinct, my neighborhood (where I am known), and helped stuff door hangers. I have voted in primaries for the better candidate running against a RINO.
3. What is the purpose of government?
To ensure the tranquility of order, national defense (military as a structure to grow when needed, not a huge standing army of occupation), Smooth relations between states (commerce).
4. Describe why you are running for this particular office. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?
To rein in Greenferry Water back to its purpose, not to sell out to building projects nearby, putting in danger water quality of the whole system. Honest business practices in billing.
5. Describe experiences where you are or have been engaged such as non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, boards, commissions, etc., where you have been of service to others.
I have been a riflemanship instructor in Project Appleseed since 2012, teaching riflemanship alongside the history and heritage of the founding of our country. The is to make our neighbors into more engaged citizens. The enemy is ignorance and apathy.
6. Do you describe yourself as fiscally conservative? Please, elaborate.
Yes, and I consider the use of loans as short term, emergency use only.
7. Do you consider yourself as socially conservative? Please elaborate.
Socially conservative, but more accurately, traditional. I consider conservative to be a liberal in slow motion, accepting the principles of liberalism but not liking the consequences. I do not accept the principles of liberalism.
8. Describe which party platform best aligns with your positions on public policy (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Constitutional Party) and where do you disagree with that platform.
I have always been a registered Republican since I first voted for Reagan in 1984, coming from a family of Republicans. As the party platform has drifted leftward, I had some admiration for elements of the Constitution party. Libertarian is all freedom without any relation to morality, right or wrong.
9. Do you have any history of tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy or conflict of interest that may affect your future decisions or desirability to be voted into office?
No loans, tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy. I am free and clear.
10. Describe how you will make yourself available to your constituents and vote as their representative with FORTITUDE, adhering to the values and answers you have stated above.
My neighbors know me, where I live. Others can reach me by phone, text, email. I monitor Telegram and Signal and previously was on Nextdoor until I expressed wrong think and was put in Nextdoor jail.
