Tell us a little about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.: Married 54 years, my wife and I have one son. Moved to Idaho 5 years ago. Retired from Emerson Process Management as an Account Manager, 14 years, responsible for the instrumentation and controls engineering and supply of four large refining operations in the Los Angeles Area. Prior to this I was an Area Sales Manager, 9 years, for Invensys Controls Systems, responsible for managing the sales of controls systems and instrumentation, through distribution and representatives, to Power Plants, Refineries and Pulp and Paper industries within the Western United states. I have an associate's degree in electrical engineering from ITT Technical Insitute in Indianapolis, IN.

1. Do you have experience as an elected official and if so, what was your position, and how would you describe your voting record?: I am a current Board Member of the Idaho State Rifle and Pistol Association. I was also elected Treasurer with the Instrumentation Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter.

My voting is considered to be on the conservative side.

2. Please tell us about your activity as a Republican. Have you previously voted for candidates of other parties? If yes, explain.: I have always been a registered Republican for as long as I can remember. I have only become active with KCRCC since my retirement here in Idaho as a volunteer.

3. What is the purpose of government?: Very simple...represent the citizens fully while maintaining social order. Provide security and defend the Constitution of the United States. Not to become a Monarchy and sole ruler over the citizens.

4. Describe why you are running for this particular office. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?: I am running because the NIC is moving in a very "Left Wing" style, and I feel the Board of trustees needs to take a more constrictive style of rule with current NIC operations.

5. Describe experiences where you are or have been engaged such as non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, boards, commissions, etc., where you have been of service to others.: See descriptions above in question 1. I have also served on staff at a non-denominational church in Temecula (Rock Christian Church) for audio and visual duties including church services and related productions.

6. Do you describe yourself as fiscally conservative? Please, elaborate.: I do describe myself as fiscally conservative. Both in family values as well as financially responsibilities.

7. Do you consider yourself as socially conservative? Please elaborate.: I am not prone to be pro-active in social activities or events. Recreational shooting, and ISRPA have been my social activities. Currently running for our local HOA as president.

8. Describe which party platform best aligns with your positions on public policy (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Constitutional Party) and where do you disagree with that platform.: Republican. I have no problem with the KCRCC.

9. Do you have any history of tax liens, criminal record, bankruptcy or conflict of interest that may affect your future decisions or desirability to be voted into office?: None.

10.Describe how you will make yourself available to your constituents and vote as their representative with FORTITUDE, adhering to the values and answers you have stated above.:As much as my retirement allows, I am available to meet and discuss any area of interest which I can be of assistance. The local people always have a say in our schools with finance and instruction. I am not easily swayed to move to a Left Ideology view due to possible criticism.
